Cassandra Ramsey

Cassandra’s health and wellness journey began as an high-school athlete, participating in various sports including volleyball and track. After graduating, she was seeking another form of movement where she could build consistency, as well as a way to make her feel like her best self.

In 2018, Cassandra found a home at Hot Power Yoga Center, at the start of her nursing school career, where she found new meaning of how yoga could give her the tools to regulate her nervous system outside of sports, stay in the present moment, and most importantly, give her the trusting confidence to be herself.

In 2024, Cassandra felt a calling to join Hot Power Yoga Center’s yoga teacher training program where she was able to dive deeper into her yoga practice with a more well rounded understanding of asanas, breath work, and exploring a new outlet for her creativity. She graduated from Hot Power Yoga Center’s yoga teacher training in May 2025.

Cassandra is deeply committed to a balanced and intentional lifestyle that brings physical health and personal fulfillment together.

Some of her passions outside of yoga include reading fantasy/sci-fi books, playing video games, skiing, and spending time with her family, friends and fur baby.

Cassandra graduated college with a Masters and Bachelor’s degree in Public Health as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing. She currently works as a critical care nurse in Worcester and teaches nursing students in Boston.

  • Hot Power Vinyasa All Levels
  • The word Vinyasa means “linking breath to movement.” Our Vinyasa yoga classes are creative and teachers take students on a journey where the poses are found through breath. Vinyasa yoga is sometimes referred to as flow yoga since students flow from pose to pose in this style of class. In this vigorous flow students will be led through Sun Salutations, side bends, heart openers, backbends, hip openers, inversions, arm balances, standing poses, forward folds, core, twists and a floor sequence. Our classes are the perfect blend of all ways of stretching including a heavy focus on biomechanics and strength. We incorporate active and passive stretching, resistance variations of stretching, and use of props to add load or to modify.  These classes are for all levels. We offer a ton of modifications for all levels, so that each student can find the right variation of the pose that suits their unique needs.


  • "Aromaflow" Hot Power Vinyasa with Aromatherapy
  • This class was developed and created by Kristin Caforio-Marengo. She merged her two loves of oils and yoga and created this class. In this all levels heated vinyasa flow class, we diffuse 100% pure therapeutic grade essential oils throughout the practice.  The oils will change every class, to support the theme and message of the class.
     
    Essential Oil aromas stimulate the part of the brain that affects emotion.  The shape of an essential oil molecule is like a key that opens lock-like structure in the olfactory nerve receptors in our nostrils.  The impression of the aroma is sent directly and immediately to the limbic system where memories are stored and pleasure and emotions are perceived.  When stimulated, the limbic system releases chemicals that affect the central nervous system.  Serotonin counteracts anxiety, and endorphins reduce pain.
