Katie Ward

Katie has been practicing yoga for over 10 years. When she started her practice, it was mostly for the physical benefits of yoga- the amazing full body strength and flexibility training. Plus, she’s always loved the thrill of those balancing poses that bring her back to her gymnastics-filled childhood! Throughout the years, Katie’s practice has grown with her and now she truly appreciates the calming, meditative aspects of the practice just as much as the physical ones. Yoga has become a huge outlet for stress relief while working long days in a corporate office.

Katie teaches classes that are fun and engaging for yogis of all levels! She aims to help her students find their inner power, and gain flexibility in their minds and bodies. Katie fully believes that the yoga we do on the mat helps us build the strength and courage to be our best, authentic selves off the mat. Katie graduated Hot Power Yoga Center’s Teacher Training program.

  • Hot Power Vinyasa All Levels
  • The word Vinyasa means “linking breath to movement.” Vinyasa yoga classes are creative and teachers take students on a journey where the poses are found through breath. Vinyasa yoga is sometimes referred to as flow yoga since students flow from pose to pose in this style of class. In this vigorous flow students will be led through Sun Salutations, side bends, heart openers, backbends, hip openers, inversions, arm balances, standing poses, forward folds, core, twists and a floor sequence. These classes are for all levels.
